I worked on a design that could be easily recognizable from a simple black and white silhouette. To achieve this, I sketched a single diagonal line from the side and pulled out the chair seat and back leg. I then took the idea to virtual reality to recreate it from a single rectangular plane. The compound curvature allowed us to create a thin edge for the chair while keeping it structurally sound. The result is a free-flowing form bound by an iconic linear frame.
