Haybale was inspired by my childhood memory of building forts in the hayloft on my family farm. The original concept caught the attention of Moooi, and we discussed bringing it to life. Despite its blocky form, the chair is quite comfortable. We spent a good amount of time with different foam densities and shapes to ensure you could sink into a soft seat. It also comes with a footstool that nests in the seat for efficient shipping.
